The same year, Paul Hankar erects his own house. The Belgian capital because the birthplace of this innovative movement that would make an impression on all Europe, and impact the greatest architects of the Bell Époque.

In Bruxelles 1893, you will find a variety of different actions separated into various phases. The diversity of those actions is so great that we will only be presenting one of the most innovative features: the Stock Exchange.

At the beginning of each round, the starting player reveals the top card from the Stock Exchange deck. The information on this card will determine the available play area on the Art Nouveau Board.

The various lines on the Stock Exchange cards correspond to a different number of players. Each line of the Stock Exchange cards contains 2 pairs of numbers. Each pair designates a shield on the Art Nouveau board. The first number represents the row, and the second, the column. The starting player much chose one of the shields from the two proposed.

Then, by tracing a horizontal and vertical line from the shield selected, the Art Nouveau board is separated into 4 distinct areas. The active player then places a Bracket tiles on the chosen shield, oriented toward the largest of the 4 areas. This area is now the only area available for the round on the Art Nouveau board.

With this system, some actions will not be available in certain rounds, so players will have to take calculated risks on what actions to take in each round.

Bruxelles 1893 is just one of the many fantastic games that you can discover at our booth in Essen as of October 24th.
