Scorecard Review – March 2014

I have gotten through March.  I did manage to play more games during the month so let us see how I did.

March

In March I was able to play 22 games at 8 events for an average of 2.75 games per event.  I did play many shorter games in March but because I was sick the first weekend of the month, I only got to play one game at the Brookhurst Hobbies Game Gathering I attended.  This prevented me from achieving my goal of 3 a games per event.

I won 7 games in March which was an increase over the 4 games I won in February.  I came in second 8 times, third 6 times, and fourth 2 times.  My average standing from March was 2.23 compared to the 2.31 I had in February.

I played 5 games more than once in March:  Bazaar, Blueprints, Empire Builder, Russian Railroads, and Trans America.

I played 2 games for the first time in March:  Packet Row and Seasons.

Year to Date

Three months into the year and I have played 58 games at 23 events for an average of 2.52 games per event.  This is up 0.12 games per event since the end of February.

I have won 15 games year to date.  My current standing for the year is 2.37 which improved 0.14 from the end of February.

I have not hit my goal of 10 plays for a game during the year on any games yet.

Lifetime

Since I started tracking my game plays I have played 206 games at 92 events for an average of 2.24 games per event.

I have won 45 games and have a lifetime standing of 2.46.

It looks like I managed to keep the momentum that I started picking up in February going through March.  I played more games more than once in March so that most likely contributed to the continued improvement since the more I play a game the better I get at it.

International Tabletop Day is coming up so I hope I get to play with a variety of people that I have not played games with before.
