The time to be a slightly cooler dude is almost here. On April 23rd, Adventure Time Card Wars: For The Glory! Booster Sets will arrive in Hobby Stores and eStores for your gaming pleasure. What new combinations are possible if only you had more cards?
For The Glory! will offer over 100 new cards to crush your opponents using a slew of fresh card effects to modify your decks from the original Collector’s Packs with sparkly new cards. The Booster Set will be sold in packs of 9 cards each including 6 Common, 2 Uncommon and 1 Rare. Did we mention 3 foil cards in every pack?
With a focus on mixed Landscape decks, there’s something for everyone… but watch out; your opponents will be carefully checking out your Landscapes and looking for a strategic advantage. Card effects that are based on your opponent’s Landscape types can and will turn this game upside down. Most of this set will be based on the Useless Swamps, Blue Plains, Cornfields, and SandyLands Landscapes you found in The Adventure Time Card Wars Collector’s Packs.
Sprinkled throughout this set are a few NiceLands cards which will give you a little taste of the fifth type of Landscape that will be introduced in the upcoming third standalone deck. (We previewed these cards last month on our blog.)
