Scorecard Review – October 2013

It looks like I survived October and Halloween without the zombies taking too many bites out of me.  Let’s take a look at how I did for the month and see where I am year to date.

October

In October I played 21 games at 8 events for an average of 2.63 games per event.  This is down from September’s 3.14 games per event.  I played at more events in October but not as many games.

The number of games that I won in October increased to 8 games compared to September’s 6 games.  This is the most games that I have won in a single month thus far this year.  I came in second 5 times, third 5 times, and fourth 3 times.  My average standing for October was 2.14 which is a slight improvement over the 2.18 I had in September.

I played two games more than once in October:  Empire Builder and K2.

I played 10 games for the first time in October:  Ghost Chase, Helvetia, K2, Kings of Air and Steam, Last Night on Earth, Pryamidion, Shadow Hunters, Tobago, Viva Pamplona, and Zombie Dice.

Year to Date

The total number of games I have played year to date is 121 games at 47 events for an average of 2.57 games per event.  This is up 0.01 games per event since our last check in.

I have won 23 games thus far this year.  My current overall standing for the year is 2.55 which is down 0.09 from the 2.64 I had in September.

My stats for the year continue to improve.  Having 8 more wins certainly helped.  If I continue to do this well, I may get up to a 25% win ratio by the end of the year.  It will be interesting to see how the holidays in November and December affect my stats.
