The date of Monday, January 13th, approaches… Why is this significant you ask? That is the date that the full Ivory Edition PDF will be available to the player base of Legend of the Five Rings! This means you will be able to build fully Ivory Edition legal decks to play against each other, and to begin preparation for the upcoming Kotei Season.
In light of this momentous occasion, and after discussion with a number of Tournament Organizers whose events are post-January 13th, I am pleased to announce that any Tournament Organizer may make their event Ivory Edition legal by allowing proxies from the January 13th PDF. These proxies are only for the Ivory Edition base set and not for any previously released Ivory Edition legal expansions or promos.
These proxies will need to be clearly printed, and fit fully within the card sleeve that a player uses. The Tournament Organizer will have the final authority to make judgement on if a particular proxy is acceptable at their event.
