Scorecard Review – June 2013

Now that June is a memory it is time to review my score card.

June

In June I played 18 games at 7 events for a total of 2.57 games per event, which is up from the 2.25 games per event from May.

My win average is still low.  I won only 1 game, came in second in 7 games, third in 6 games, fourth in 3 games, and fifth in 1 game.  My average standing in May did improve to 2.78 in June compared to the 3.22 I had in May.  This mostly has to do with the number of second placed I took in June versus May.

I played three games multiple times in June:  India Rails, Iron Dragon, and Starfarers of Catan.

I played four games for the first time:  Biblios, Haggis, Nefertiti, and Seven Sisters.

Year to Date

The total number of game I have played to date is 45 games at 18 events for an average of 2.5 games per event.  This is up 0.05 games per event since our last check up.

I have won 3 games year to date and have an average standing of 2.82 in games thus far this year.  This is up 0.07 from our last check up.

I have seen an improvement in my stats since the last review at the end of May.  This is mostly due to me not crashing and burning when I lose than earning out right victories.  I never said I was the best player out there, but I did think that I won more consistently than this.  My opponents also seem to think I am the one to beat.  Maybe if I showed them my stats, they would start to think differently and I could sneak in a few more victories…
