Mayfair is bringing a block party to Gen Con 2013!
Here's a rundown of the awesomeness that awaits at Mayfair's 2013 Gen
Con Block Party, which runs from 6 to 11 p.m. on Thursday, August 15th,
at the Georgia Street Pavilion:
- Bob MacWordell and Angus McPeters will appear LIVE to host the event. The Mad Rams are the hosts of The Bob & Angus Show
and are finally getting their dues from Gen Con. In addition to
emceeing the event, the veteran newsrams will host interviews throughout
the evening, including sci-fi legend Walter Koenig and gaming luminary
Peter Adkison.
- Providing music throughout the evening will be DJ M4RC3L0 & DJ Matt Raven with 80's Hits, Covers & Remixes
- Then magician Michael Mirth will perform his famous Magician in a Hat trick.
- Then the Warp Speed Charity event takes place. This special game of
Star Trek: Catan will allow three lucky winners to play a round with
superstar guest Wil Wheaton! Proceeds supporting Gen Con Indy's official 2013 Charity Partner, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana.
- Finally, a MAMMOTH game of Star Trek: Catan will be held. This game is too big for a table to hold!
