AEG Press Release - AEG Demo Program Soft Launch

From the AEG Website

Alderac Entertainment Group is proud to announce the launch of a brand new demo program on July 1st. Partnering with retail game stores, we will be running special in-store events to show off and teach our latest games. Experienced AEG demo team members will guide new players as they learn how to play.

We won’t be doing this alone. AEG will need the help of dedicated volunteers to make this program a success. These volunteers, called Vanguards, will form the backbone of our demo efforts. While we will have a great appreciation for their efforts, our volunteers deserve more than that. By running sanctioned demo events, the Vanguards can accumulate reward points. These points can be spent on AEG products and exclusive promotional items.

Now, we’re ready to tip our hand on yet another way for you, as a fan, to change the course of history in Rokugan.

This year, at the Origins Game Fair, held in Columbus, Ohio, on June 11 – 15, we are offering an event titled “The First Taste of Blood.” It is described as follows:

Scorecard Review – May 2014

In May I changed up the regular events that I normally attend.  It has had an effect on the games that I have played.  There are more older games that are toward the lighter side on the list of games that I played.  Let us review what I played and how it fits into what I have been doing up to this point.

May

In April I was able to play 30 games at 9 events for an average of 3.33 games per event.  I was able to hit my goal of an average of 3 games per event again.
