It was pointed out to me exactly how flavorful today's Haruka card is. Even the flavor text matches up with the ability! I like cards like this that really bring out the context of the source material.

One of today's Japanese Vanguard cards is drawn by a rather well-known illustrator. Though I didn't recognize the art until I checked the name...

Today's cards include a lot of little bundles of joy, with the Futami twins being featured for WS, Mami for Chaos, and even Wendy being featured for English WS! And though Mami isn't my favourite IM@S character, one of the Mami Chaos cards featured today just pushes all the right buttons for me. I had a shock when I tried a search for images by the illustrator on Google though; should have done so on Pixiv.

And we've come to the end of the week! Today we have some really, really nice art for WS and Chaos cards, some of which are new. Also, for English Vanguard we have a sudden jump to show the box topper for BT16 ver. E, "Harmonics Messiah". It can only be used in official tournaments after the first of the Vanguard G TDs is released next year though, but players will be able to try out the new mechanics ahead of that!

Recently, I've gotten the urge to restart playing MMORPGs. Probably the influence of Log Horizon season 2 and the latest arc of Sword Art Online II. The GGO arc didn't make me feel like playing FPSes though. Probably was too engrossed in the main characters, Sinon and "Kiriko" (Kirito), as I have heard some people call him.

It's been getting colder of late, especially at night. Guess that makes it perfect for Halloween coming up, as people will already be naturally shivering.

Today we have a very interesting card revealed for Vanguard that will be released in the Movie Booster. Blaster Joker features an ability that hasn't been seen before, that aims to break apart the bond that is Legion. Will it work? We'll find out soon, with the early release version of the booster releasing with the start of airing of the movie.

Somebody once told me that the annual Animelo Summer Live is the signal for the end of summer here, and since that isn't for another 9 days, this weather should continue for yet some time to come. It makes sense since it's a very hot-blooded event where emotions run high and strong, and now there is even more reason for those, with the revelation of what will be on sale at Bushiroad's booth there!
