Wyrd is hosting a painting contest this summer. Stay out of the heat and get your paint brushes ready because we want to see what you got!
The contest runs from June 18th through July 18th. Entries can be submitted at any time during the contest. Voting will occur from July 21st through July 27th, done anonymously through the Wyrd forums. Also, during voting, anyone may leave comments and critiques, which previous entrants have appreciated. The winners will be announced soon after the voting ends, and Wyrd will send prizes to those winners, along with random prizes that we give away with every contest.
The specific rules for the contest can be found under Contest Rules and Info. Everyone should read the rules, because we want to avoid any misunderstanding of the contest, including disqualifying criteria.
Due to the sheer number of people that have entered unedited photographs in the past we will no longer do any editing for you. There are many free photo resizing programs out there. Wyrd staff will attempt to notify anyone whose pictures were deleted due to size or for any reason, but cannot guarantee notification.
An additional note, it needs to be new and painted during the contest time (we're trusting folks here). If you've shown it off, taken it out to conventions, put it online ... no good.
The categories for the contest are:
• Single Miniature: A single Wyrd miniature.
• Crew: A full Malifaux crew composed of at least five characters, including a Master.
• Diorama: Two or more Wyrd miniatures depicted in a scene.
• Diorama: Two or more Wyrd miniatures depicted in a scene.
