Alliance Game Distributors and Z-Man Games have heard your concerns
regarding the release of Pandemic: The Cure to stores in the US, and we
wanted to take this opportunity to communicate an update.
Z-Man’s
production partner, Panda Games based in China, had a delay in the
production of the custom dice for Pandemic: The Cure, which caused a
delay in the shipping of the product to North America. Z-Man Games and
Alliance discussed the issue and made a decision to complete the
assembly of the games in North America. Z-Man Games and Alliance worked
closely together, adding the dice to the boxes before shipping the
product to stores.
Based on internal discussions, Alliance
decided to delay the release of the product in their territory in order
to avoid an initial allocation of this product. As of this week, the
assembly of the games has been completed and they are currently shipping
to all of the Alliance distribution centers across the US.
We
apologize for this delay and the confusion that it caused. Z-Man Games
and Alliance will continue to work together in order to avoid situations
like this in the future.
