Inquiring minds want to know. What presence will Munchkin Panic have at GenCon next week? Let us count the ways…

1) Demos! We will be running two demo tables of Munchkin Panic in our booth (#443) all four days. You’ll be able to sit down and play the game. We will also have copies of the “Munchkin Panic –A Peek Under the Helmet” books we shared in a recent video for you to peruse if the tables are full when you venture by.

Fireside Games Press Release - Munchkin Panic – A Peek Under the Helmet

From the Fireside Games Website

How do you show people a game BEFORE the game is available to be shown? That was our conundrum when trying to come up with a way to share the art and details behind Munchkin Panic when we didn’t have a copy of the game to share yet.

Then, our brilliant Sales & Marketing Manager Kris said, “Why not make a photo book of the art with details about the game design and what makes it different from both Castle Panic and Munchkin?” And we all applauded and then got to work! “Munchkin Panic–A Peek Under the Helmet” was born.

Fireside Games Press Release - The Greatness of TableTop Day!

From the Fireside Games Website

Saturday was the big day! All across the world people got together and played games and we can blame it all (mostly) on Wil Wheaton and his great show.

We were at one of the bigger local stores here in Austin, Dragon’s Lair and it was a heck of an event!

The store set aside the entire gaming area for the day, there were TableTop episodes playing in the background and an entire table full of free swag! We demoed a bunch of games, and some lucky fans even got to try out the prototype of Munchkin Panic with Anne-Marie.

Fireside Games Press Release - T.A.B.L.E. Was a Blast!

From the Fireside Games Website

Last weekend had us up in Dallas for the first ever Tabletop and Boardgame Learning Expo. The expo was created as a way to expose non-gamers to all the fun that our hobby has to offer. We saw lots of new faces and a few old friends as we played demos with hundreds of other gamers.

In addition to all the games being played, the expo also featured tournaments, how-to sessions, a zombie “un-murder” mystery, and several panels, including one on game design that Anne-Marie and I were kindly included in. It was great to be able to answer questions and give out a little advice from all the things we’ve learned on our crazy journey.

This Saturday, April 5th is International TableTop Day, when gamers all across the world will come together to score points, slay monsters, and generally have a fantastic time. We’re going to be doing our part at Dragon’s Lair on West Anderson Lane, here in Austin, Texas.
