Game Review – Alhambra

Over the last few years a lot of new board games have been release.  So many that aside from games like Settlers of Catan or the variety of Ticket to Ride it has been hard to get any older games out on the table.  I do not believe that this is because these games are bad compared to the current crop of games.  In fact just like at any other time there both good and bad games that are published.  Because there are more of them it is harder to wade through them to find the 10% gems.  Of the 70 or so new games that I have played I can think of five that I would like to add to my collection.

The other thing to contend with is that sometimes a game that you thought was great when it first came out, you look at years later and it has turned into a stinker because you have found another game that does what that game attempted much better.

Game Review Index Page

I have been working on Tabletop Game Central since April of last year and even in that short period of time I have posted a lot of things here.  In order to make things easier I have started to create index pages for some of the items that can be found here.  The first of these index pages is the game reviews index page.  The goal of this page is to make it easier for you to find older game reviews published here.  The link to the index page can be found in the header of the site and is shockingly enough called Game Reviews.  It can be reached from any place you my be on the site just buy clicking on the link in the header.

I hope that this index page makes it simpler to find the reviews of the games that you are looking for.  The next project is going to be indexing the after action reports.  I just need to settle on the layout for the page and code it.
